The sixth Dirt Half Challenge took place on Saturday 14 November 2015. Once again, the race was a sell out and produced faster times than ever from the front runners. Conditions were cold with patches of rain and mud underfoot in places but some runners achieved personal bests despite the challenging nature of the course, with a killer hill about half way through the race before entering beautiful woodland trails.

The race was won by new course record holder, Max Dillon of Ampthill & Flitwick Flyers in a time of 01:18:26, followed closely by Jamie Farmer of the Redway Runners in 01:18:36 and Richard Dowling in 1:21:30. First Lady was Kelly Barnett with an impressive time of 1:29:13 followed by Eleanor Mayne in 01:34:22 and Jennifer Sangster in 1:35:43. Female Vet prizes were won by: Eleanor Mayne FV35, Julie Martin FV45, Alison Rose-Quirie FV55 and Deidre Bethune FV65. Mens Vet categories were won by: Paul Williamson MV40, David Green MV50, Jon Burgess MV60, and Richard Inchley, MV70.

The team prize went to Leighton Buzzard AC: Billy Mead, Adam Haycock, James Bell, Charlie Mead and Tim Inchley.

Feedback from the runners regarding the course, the support from the marshals and the organisation of the event was once again outstanding with many runners vowing they would be back next year. A word of advice: enter early! https://dirtrunning.org.uk
