POPULAR HALF & METRIC HALF MARATHON TRAIL RACE

Totally Stunning Course
The race starts in the historic market town of Leighton Buzzard and completes an anti-clockwise lap of Tiddenfoot Waterside Park before following the picturesque autumnal Grand Union Canal towpath north to Stoke Hammond with stunning views, climbing through beautiful countryside to Great Brickhill. The route then passes through the scenic Rushmere Country Park woodland before following the Greensand Ridge back to the start via the canal towpath and finishing with a clockwise lap of Tiddenfoot Waterside Park.
The Metric Half Marathon starts alongside the half marathon runners, following the opening section of the course before branching onto a shorter loop and later rejoining the main route to share the same scenic finish and race-day atmosphere.

A well run challenging trail half marathon with a mixture of tow path, off road hill & woods with a boggy flood plain, what more do you want? All the marshals and volunteers are excellent with first aid support where it matters. It has quickly become a regular event in my diary.
