The next Dirt Half Challenge will take place on Saturday 12th November 2016
Race starts: 10am
THE DIRT HALF CHALLENGE REGISTRATION WILL OPEN EARLY 2016
The race follows the canal towpath north to Stoke Hammond with stunning views, climbs through beautiful countryside to Great Brickhill then passes through the scenic Stockgrove Country Park before following the Greensand Ridge back to the start via the canal towpath. The race is predominantly off road and crosses three minor roads. The route will be clearly marked and marshaled.

This event will be chip timed. Timing mats will be at the start and finish.

Time limit is 3 hours
TRA/ 85-15. The race will be run under UKA rules

Baggage can be left in the school hall at your own risk. You can pay to use a secure locker in Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre next door.
We recommend that you arrive in your running clothes. There are toilets, but you will need to pay entry to Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre (swim & shower £3.40) next door to use their showering facilities.
The Sports Therapy Room will be providing massages for a small fee. Proceeds to go to charity.
There will be a kiosk in the school hall offers hot & cold refreshments from 8am. We also have a cake stall which will be open before and after the race so bring pocket money.
There will be water at approx mile 3, 7 and 10 miles and again at the finish.
All finishers will receive a Race Medal
Presentation of the race awards will take place after the race.
Award categories are: First 3 Men, plus MV40, MV50, MV60, MV70. First 3 Ladies, plus FV35, FV45, FV55, FV65.
Plus first team of 5 runners (can be mixed) from the same club.
Runners may win more than one award.
We don’t offer a number transfer service for the Dirt Half Challenge. Places are non-refundable, can’t be transferred or deferred under any circumstances.
Spectators are welcome, but are reminded to stand clear of the route at all times. There are a couple of nice pubs on the course offering a relaxed view of the runners.
The minimum age for participants is 17 on race day.

All runners must be medically fit to compete and enter at their own risk and the organisers will in no way be held responsible for any injury, accident, loss or damage that may arise before, during or after the event as a consequence of my participation in this race. No refunds under any circumstances. No dogs allowed.
